Sutherland Basketball is a registered Covid-Safe business.

The SDBA is pleased to announce that under the guidance of Basketball NSW together with the directives from NSW Health, and the Office of Sport, the SDBA and NBISC Boards have granted permission for spectators to enter the venues for our local competition games. Entry has been based on the recommendations supplied by Basketball NSW as follows:

Two (2) spectators per player are permitted entry to the venue

Contact tracing and sanitising must continue

All non playing participants who enter the venue venue to participate in SDBA competitions are required to enter their contact details on the QR code provided at the venue, and sanitise their hands on entry.

Social Distancing must be maintained throughout the venue

SDBA staff will monitor, and we ask you to comply with direction from our staff.

There has been further information in relation to mandatory face mask wearing provided by NSW Office of Sport and distributed by BNSW.
Indoor Recreational Facilities are not considered on the list of places of businesses that have mandatory face masks to be worn while utilising the facility
Therefore, the stadium will not enforce the wearing of face masks for visitors, players and staff. However, it would recommend that those that do have face masks if they can wear them while spectating and adhere to the social distancing rule as best as possible.
